The greatest triumph of direction-finding came in naval warfare. On 30 May, 1916, the British Royal Navy noted an unusual increase in German naval radio traffic. Careful measurements of a ship known to be at Wilhelmshaven indicated a 1½ degree change in bearing angle. Capt. H. G. Round correctly interpreted this motion as the ship taking up a position in the Jade River ready to put to sea. On the basis of this signal intelligence, the British Grand Fleet sortied to the North Sea so quickly that they overran the intended line of German U-Boats before the U-Boats were able to arrive and take up position. [[xxi]] Although overall British signal intelligence efforts were plagued by miscommunication and misunderstanding of vital data, the potential value of direction finding was clear.

-Planted the pipe bombs.
-Shot and tear gassed peaceful protesters in efforts to agitate them.
-Removed barriers and literally waived people to go towards the Capitol building.
-Opened giant magnetic doors from the inside to allow people in the building.
-Shot and killed an unarmed female veteran (the only person that was killed this day).
-Lied about all of this.
-Also lied about the death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died of natural causes.
-Became celebrities that received Congressional and Presidential awards for their “efforts.”

🇵🇱 Polish turned out to be the most effective language for AI commands: This was to be expected - it is most convenient to communicate with artificial intelligence in Polish.
"According to a study by the University of Maryland and Microsoft, Polish proved to be the most effective language for 'prompts' — commands given to artificial intelligence. At the same time, English ranked only sixth among 26 tested languages.
The results showed that Polish provides an average of 88% accuracy in task execution.
Notably, the AI demonstrated good understanding of Polish, despite the fact that the volume of Polish data for training is significantly smaller than that for English or Chinese."

Singapore is extending its caning to online scammers. Britain should bring it back for crimes such as shoplifting.
Singapore caning law: In a bold move to tackle what it calls the country’s “most prevalent crime,” Singapore has introduced mandatory caning for online scammers, marking one of the toughest anti-fraud measures in the world. The legislation, passed by Parliament earlier this week, amends the Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill to impose a minimum of six strokes of the cane on offenders convicted of scams or related offences.
Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs Sim Ann told lawmakers that the new penalties were necessary as scams now account for nearly 60 per cent of all reported crimes in Singapore. Between 2020 and mid-2025, more than 190,000 scam cases were reported, with total losses exceeding 3.7 billion Singaporean dollars (USD 2.8 billion).

FBI Director Kash Patel crushed efforts by Tulsi Gabbard's closest advisor to see if a foreign power was involved in Charlie Kirk's assassination.
The head of the National Counterterrorism Center, Joe Kent, analyzed FBI files to determine whether Kirk's alleged killer received assistance from a foreign power.
Kent's investigation alarmed Patel, who believed the counterterror chief was overstepping by interfering with an ongoing FBI investigation, according to the New York Times.
Trump administration officials were worried that Kent's probe into foreign interference could provide ammunition to Robinson's defense lawyers, who could then argue more than one suspect was involved in Kirk's murder.
The FBI and DOJ have traditionally tightly regulated evidence in active criminal investigations and prosecutions.
Under the direction of Kent, the Counterterrorism Center collected material from other intelligence agencies regarding potential foreign ties to Robinson, as well as evaluated any potential foreign funding from individuals associated with left-wing groups, such as antifa.
There have been longstanding issues regarding jurisdiction between Gabbard's office and the FBI.
It is not clear if the FBI or the Counterterrorism Center is still investigating whether a foreign power assisted in the murder of Charlie Kirk.
