In #Israel, when the minister of health thought that he wasn’t being recorded, he spoke rather candidly about #VaccinePassports.

According to him, there is no medical justification for these passports, and the only purpose of the passport system is to pressure citizens into vaccine acceptance.

Isabelli a healthy 16 year old girl from Brazil took her first and only dose of the Pfizer injection on August 25th. According to her mother, very soon after she developed headaches, dizziness and trouble breathing. She was admitted to the hospital where eventually she ended up needing blood transfusions and was intubated. She had been bleeding from her nose and mouth and on September 2, passed away from cardiac arrest.

STOP PRESS:
Iceland’s government halts ALL use of the Moderna covid19 vaccine, noted obvious excess of myocarditis.

This is strange. The Pfizer product is associated with higher incidence of myocarditis.

Best wishes
Mike

Article Translated to English

The Chief Epidemiologist has decided that the Moderna vaccine against Covid-19 will not be used in Iceland while further information is obtained on the safety of the vaccine during booster vaccinations.

An announcement states that in recent days there has been data from the Nordic countries on the increased incidence of myocarditis and pericarditis after vaccination with the Moderna vaccine in addition to the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine.

According to the epidemiologist, the Moderna vaccine has for the past two months been used almost exclusively here for booster vaccinations after the Janssen vaccine and after two-dose vaccinations for the elderly and immunocompromised. Very few individuals are said to have received the second dose of the basic vaccine that started with Moderna.

Sufficient supply of Pfizer

In Sweden, the use of Moderna has been restricted to individuals born before 1991. In Norway and Denmark, it has been emphasized that the Pfizer vaccine is recommended rather than Moderna for 12 to 17 year olds.

In Iceland, only the Pfizer vaccine has been recommended for primary vaccination at 12 to 17 years of age since the vaccination of the age group began.

According to the Chief Epidemiologist, the decision was made to wait with the use of Moderna as there is a sufficient supply of Pfizer vaccine for booster vaccinations of defined priority groups and basic vaccinations of those who have not yet been vaccinated.

LOCKDOWNS INCREASE TRANSMISSION OF RESPIRATORY VIRUSES, THEY DO NOT DECREASE CASES

"In the framework of this analysis, there is no evidence that more restrictive nonpharmaceutical interventions (‘lockdowns’) contributed substantially to bending the curve of new cases in England, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain or the United States in early 2020. By comparing the effectiveness of NPIs on case growth rates in countries that implemented more restrictive measures with those that implemented less-restrictive measures, the evidence points away from indicating that mrNPIs provided additional meaningful benefit above and beyond lrNPIs. While modest decreases in daily growth (under 30%) cannot be excluded in a few countries, the possibility of large decreases in daily growth due to mrNPIs is incompatible with the accumulated data.

The direction of the effect size in most scenarios points towards an increase in the case growth rate, though these estimates are only distinguishable from zero in Spain (consistent with nonbeneficial effect of lockdowns). Only in Iran do the estimates consistently point in the direction of additional reduction in the growth rate, yet those effects are statistically indistinguishable from zero.

While it is hard to draw firm conclusions from these estimates, they are consistent with a recent analysis that identified increased population-level transmission and cases in Hunan, China, during the period of stay-at-home orders, attributed to increased intra-household density and transmission.

In other words, it is possible that stay-at-home orders may facilitate transmission if they increase person-to-person contact where transmission is efficient such as closed spaces. "
