When I used to run MCSNet in Chicago we had a couple of "discussions" with UofC and, since a decent number of people who wanted part-time jobs at my firm were attending there was some back-and-forth with them. One of the subjects of said back-and-forth was the fact a handful of current students, bearing valid student IDs, applied for jobs and couldn't manage enough English to write a basic business letter or do four-function arithmetic with a piece of paper and pencil. That the college "admitted" individuals lacking literal middle school competence in basic educational attainment astonished me -- and I remind you this was in the mid 1990s!
But had this course shown up during that time I would have sent them the following:

In 1920, Niels Bohr (1885–1962) identified the “Correspondence Principle:” quantum predictions must reproduce classical results in the many-photon limit. If quantum theory violates or cannot explain classical results, then quantum theory is broken, and we must modify it to bring it back into compliance.
Emerging discoveries in fundamental electromagnetics offer new insights to how energy slows down and changes direction in standing waves or when waves interfere. These discoveries demand that quantum mechanics not only embrace an interpretation similar to the deBroglie-Bohm pilot wave theory, but also accept that photons interact with each other in free space, shifting between a the balanced electric AND magnetic state that characterizes radiation and an unbalanced electric OR magnetic state that characterizes standing waves.
