🇺🇸🇷🇺 Russia is deploying the latest Avangard combat system, President Vladimir Putin's invincible weapon. Khaleda Rahman writes about this for the American edition of Newsweek.

It is specified that Avangard was one of several advanced weapons systems that Russia announced in March 2018. The weapon is capable of flying at 27 times the speed of sound and cannot be intercepted, according to the US. In his 2018 speech introducing Avangard, Putin called the system “invincible.” He said that the weapon is absolutely invulnerable to any air and missile defense systems.
