In 1965, a technician was inside a vacuum chamber and accidentally depressurized his suit. After 12 to 15 seconds he lost consciousness, but his suit was repressurized at 27 seconds. Another dissertation defense gone awry. A human skeleton was discovered Tuesday in an unused building on a University of California, Berkeley, campus, officials said.

Okay so I think the phonetic alphabet set English speakers up for this gender fluidity madness.

First off English lost gender entirely, unlike the Romance languages. But the alphabet doesn't even embed any cultural concepts into it either (like masculine of feminine letters as occurs in Arabic), so English is like open waters for Cultural Piracy.

Chinese people write "good" by adding the symbol for wife and son together, implying that you're only good if you are a wife that can produce a male heir.
