In the 16th Century, Turkish women could initiate divorce if their husbands didn’t provide enough coffee.

This would be unheard of today, but coffee was an integral part of Turkish society back then. It was introduced into the country in the 15th Century, and by the 16th Century, they had mastered the art of coffee.

Coffee became so popular, it seems, that it became “grounds” for divorce. No one knows why exactly this actually came into law, but the fact remains that it was!

At the root of the dystopia is the faith based religious belief that science has all the answers, which is a misunderstanding: science only has the questions, science or scientists do not have any more answers than anybody else in any other field of work.

Science has become a euphemism for fraud, & scientist has become a euphemism for fraudster, or charlatan at best. This is the result of science for "stakeholder" hire in our universities.
