NEW: Sixth Circuit denies government’s motions to transfer and to hold the #OSHA vaccine mandate case in abeyance.

Translation: The government wanted to transfer the case to a possibly more favorable court (Washington D.C.). OSHA also tried to slow walk it.

The court said no.

It has officially been 1 month since Norway removed all Covid restrictions.

They have no vaccine passports, mask mandates, or social distancing rules.

Their seven-day rolling average of new deaths is lower than ever.

Why is no one talking about this?
A U.S. district judge on Tuesday denied a motion seeking a temporary restraining order on behalf of five employees of Decatur’s United Launch Alliance who were dismissed from their jobs over their refusal to take a COVID-19 vaccine.

In a 24-page decision, U.S. District Judge Abdul K. Kallon said five employees placed on unpaid administrative leave had not demonstrated irreparable harm in losing their jobs over the federal vaccine mandate, as the threat of having to seek another job “does not outweigh the potential harms that United Launch may face if it is forced to retain unvaccinated employees without valid bases for accommodations.”

At the moment, though, the company’s railgun isn’t quite ready for wartime. The futuristic weapon accelerates tiny “ferromagnetic projectiles,” smaller than half an inch in diameter, to over 200 feet per second with 75 foot-pounds of muzzle energy.

To put those numbers into perspective, a .357 caliber magnum handgun can achieve 580 foot pounds of force. A 9mm handgun can achieve well over 300 foot pounds as well, accelerating projectiles over 1,000 feet per second. In comparison, according to Vice‘s analysis, the GR-1 is more like a BB gun.

In other words, it’s much less likely to kill somebody than a conventional handgun.

For now at least, according to Wirth, it’s a tech demo that’s “ideal for collectors, investors, researchers, tinkerers, and those who wish to own a weapon that’s free from reliance on mass-produced ammunition.”

...

For now, anybody willing to shell out close to $4,000 for a GR-1 will have to sign a liability waiver. According to Wirth, the company ran the GR-1 through an independent safety review and extensive testing.
