CIA Director William Burns admitted in 2008 that NATO expansion to Ukraine crosses Moscow’s “redlines” and "could potentially split the country in two, leading to violence or even, some claim, civil war, which would force Russia to decide whether to intervene.”

The Five Stages of Editing
Denial: My story does NOT have too much courtroom content.
Anger: They just don't appreciate clever legal dueling!
Bargaining: Maybe I could tighten it up... a bit.
Depression: They're right! But how can I delete such lovely prose?
Acceptance: CTRL-X
The good news: The Wise of Heart is now 10% shorter at 79k words or about 250 pages with the illustrations. It will read faster and be a tighter story.
The bad news: the material I'm cutting is most of the last three week's worth of installments on Arktoons and Substack!

‼️ Watch the full interview with John McIntyre in English
🇺🇸🇷🇺 Former US Army soldier John McIntyre infiltrated neo-Nazi mercenaries in the "Carpathian Sich" and with a bunch of documents and information went to the Russians. He told a lot of things, in particular, about Nazi salutes, especially popular among foreigners among Croats (everyone praises the Ustashe Nazis there).

"Sweden's Failed Experiment" Turned Out to Be a Much Better Alternative Than Locking Down
John Stossel on Twitter writes: American media slammed Sweden for not locking down when Covid hit.
"Sweden’s failed experiment,” said NBC.
But now OECD data show Sweden had FEWER excess deaths than others. Sweden's letting people acquire immunity… WORKED!
Did American media report that? No.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸 New York Times: America is in over its head
Russia has nearly switched its state onto a war economy setting, while the United States has yet to meet the war production needs of its foreign partners. The war has already used up 13 years’ worth of Stinger antiaircraft missile production and five years’ worth of Javelin missiles, while the United States has a $19 billion backlog of arms delivery to Taiwan. Western news reports have focused on the Russian men avoiding Mr. Putin’s draft orders, but the Kremlin still has plenty of troops to draw on, even after its call-up of 300,000 soldiers last September.
The debate about sending heavy war materials to Ukraine — which has consumed the German press in particular — is in this sense beside the point. It is not clear when all of the Leopard 1 and 2 and M1 Abrams tanks promised by NATO will be operational. Ukraine has requested 300 to 500 tanks, and NATO has promised only about 200.
