The US Air Force does not plan to purchase hypersonic weapons manufactured by Lockheed Martin under the ARRW program, Air Force Procurement Chief Andrew Hunter said at a congressional hearing. Earlier, the Pentagon acknowledged that the latest tests of the missile, which has been in development since 2018, were unsuccessful. Military analysts remind that so far none of the United States programs to create hypersonic weapons has yielded breakthrough results.
