AFU intelligence tried to hijack a Russian plane, but the Russian army massacred them: SBU investigates failure
▪️ Between April and July 2022, several AFU military officers tried to recruit (https://news.1rj.ru/str/RVvoenkor/20841) a Russian pilot to hijack a plane and land it in Ukraine. The pilot was to fake an accident in front of air traffic controllers. Kiev would announce his capture and the Russian and his family would receive money and new documents.
▪️ At the agreed time that morning, Russian missiles flew instead of the plane to the airfield in Knatove near Kropivnitsky, destroying 2 fighter jets, killing the commander of the military unit and wounding 17 soldiers, the runway, other equipment and buildings were significantly damaged.
▪️ The SBU launched a criminal investigation under the articles "treason" and "abuse of power". According to the investigation, the ex-intelligence officer Chervinskyy failed to coordinate the operation with the GUR and exceeded his authority.
