The Russians are far from seizing the "road of life" in Bakhmut, which supplies food, medicine, weapons, and other things necessary for the military and civilians, said Serhiy Cherevaty, the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. in an exclusive comment for ZN.UA.

"The Russians have been talking for several weeks about capturing the 'road of life' and constant fire control over it. In reality, it's different. Yes, it's tough there because their attempts to capture the Road continue, as well as their attempts to establish fire control. But thanks to the special operations forces, and artillerymen, the Defense Forces do not allow the Russians to "cut off" our material and technical base," Cherevaty explained.

The press secretary also reported that engineers and logisticians work in this direction, paving new paths. All this in the complex allows you to deliver weapons, medicines, food, and ammunition to Bakhmut and pick up the wounded.
