Introducing the Fullmoon Community: A community related to anything for legacy Windows!
Fullmoon community is a community of people which mainly focuses on bringing modern apps back to older versions of Windows. Luminafox, the browser we talked about a few days ago is a project under Fullmoon.
Aside from that, Fullmoon has other cool projects like Windows 7 unofficial Service Pack 2 or Lanther XP: A custom Windows XP ISO which uses .wim installation, hence making it easier for us to use.
Aside from this, Fullmoon also provides support for many different types of OSes and for their own projects.

Google Wallet launches in India, with local integrations, but Pay will stay
Google Wallet has finally launched in India. It is rolling out in batches, so not everyone can install it now.
Google will continue to run Google Pay as a stand-alone app in the country, at least for now.

Some truth about Win32/Win32ss' legacy software corporation and Supermium.
I've personally been praising Win32 and his work. I appreciate the effort the guy has put in things like Vista's extended kernel and Supermium, but this is just unhealthy.
The entire LSC (Legacy Software Corporation) has declared war on LuminaFox, a Firefox backport till Windows XP. Why? Because if it happens, then they won't be able to make Superfox. Now, not liking a thing is fine, but engaging in a war just because you have competition? That's something else.
Moreover, to add to this, the LSC has also paywalled many aspects of open-source software, as visible in Supermium.... and now they're defaming Luminafox just because it's a competition... *sigh*.
Honestly, fighting with competition just because it doesn't allow you to make a project is fucked up.

Moondrop, a well-known brand for its high-end in-ear monitors and headphones, is making a surprising leap into the smartphone market with their first device, the MIAD 01. The name itself stands for Mobile Internet Audio Device, hinting at the phone's priority – exceptional audio quality.
The teaser image reveals a white colored phone with a dual-camera system on the back and a design that incorporates flat sides with sharp corners. More interestingly, it also showcases the presence of two headphone jacks – a 3.5mm jack and a 4.4mm jack, catering to both balanced and unbalanced audio connections. Coca-Cola signs a $1.1 billion deal to use Microsoft Cloud and AI Technology
Under the agreement, Microsoft and Coca-Cola will "jointly experiment" with Azure OpenAI. That service uses technology from Microsoft-backed startup and ChatGPT creator OpenAI to let customers build chatbots and other AI services that run in Microsoft's Azure cloud computing service.
Coca-Cola would test Microsoft's Copilot offerings to see how the tools improve productivity for the beverage maker. Copilot is an AI assistant that can help summarize lengthy email discussions and build slide decks for business presentations, among its many functions.

Google now offers "Warranty Helper" to check your warranty policy easily
Earlier, users had to manually enter the device’s serial number or IMEI. But now, instead of having to know it by looking physically on the device, finding the packaging, or diving into Settings, Google will automatically list the devices associated with your Google Account.
Once you confirm your email address with the Warranty Helper, you can easily select the specific Pixel device you want to check the warranty status for. You'll see details like the warranty start and expiration dates, along with the return policy.

Nintendo Eyeing To Enter the Indian Market
Nintendo has never launched its consoles officially in India.
One of the reasons that Nintendo did not choose to enter the Indian market is likely due to high taxed imposed on video games and consoles.
Also, Nintendo is not a “fan of India’s BIS rules which they fear could reveal their factories.”
Now its been reported that Nintendo has been “eyeing India again.”
Recently, Nintendo employees visited key Indian markets like Mumbai .
However, NO deal has been finalised between Nintendo and any distributor in India.

WhatsApp tells Delhi High Court it will shut down in India if forced to break encryption
The court was hearing petitions filed by WhatsApp and its parent company Meta challenging Rule 4(2) of the Information Technology Rules, 2021. Rule 4(2) says ‘significant’ social media intermediaries (those with more than five million registered users) must be able to identify the first originator of any information on its platform when ordered to do so by a court or another competent authority.
WhatsApp said that complying with the rule would require storing vast numbers of messages for extended periods, which no other country mandates. It said the rule exceeded the scope of its parent law, the Information Technology Act, which does not mandate breaking encryption.
The government argued that there must be a mechanism in place to trace the originators of messages, citing the need for accountability. The court has adjourned the case to 14 August.

Windows 11 will reportedly display a watermark if your PC does not support AI requirements
Microsoft has added a code that will warn you if your PC does not meet the hardware requirements. The warning will be displayed as a watermark so you know that you cannot use certain AI-powered built-in apps because of an unsupported CPU.
While initially, only PopCnt seemed to be a necessity, it looks like mandatory SSE4.2 requirement is also being added to the underlying code, and unsupported old CPUs that do not pack these instructions will no longer be able to boot into Windows 11 24H2.
