iOS 18 will let you record calls — and tells everyone for their privacy

The image shows a new recording option on the Phone app, which displays a soundwave, along with how long you’ve been recording. It will automatically tell call participants that they’re being recorded.

It then transcribes your call in the Notes app, where you can generate a summary using the new Apple Intelligence AI system. Audio trannoscription will only be available in English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and Portuguese.

iOS 18 Lets You Lock and Hide Your Apps

iOS 18 introduces a feature allowing app locking or hiding via Face ID scan. Locked apps prompt for secondary authentication upon access. While not all apps are lockable, most, including third-party ones, can utilize this feature. Users can also hide locked apps, moving them to a hidden folder.

Locked or hidden apps remain concealed from search, notifications, and system areas. Disabling the lock feature requires a Face ID scan, ensuring security. This extends to iPad devices as well.

A revolutionary update in macOS 15 - Window Tiling

Window Tiling is finally supported in macOS with the new update. This makes it easier to arrange windows automatically on your screen without manually dragging and resizing each one individually or switching into full-screen mode.

This is a revolutionary change in macOS. We do not know if it supports keyboard shortcuts, and if it doesn't, Rectangle would still be quite useful.
