President Trump is trying to manufacture chaos and crisis on the ground—this abuse of power cannot stand.
Our National Guard troops could be out fighting fires, stopping the flow of fentanyl into our communities, and much more.

Instead, they’ve been commandeered to patrol our streets when state and local law enforcement is already handling the situation.
We’re continuing our legal fight against the Trump Administration’s unlawful order deploying the federalized National Guard in LA.
The right to peacefully call out injustice and demand accountability from those in power embodies everything we stand for as a nation.

As AG, I will always defend and enforce our U.S. Constitution.

By holding Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family accountable for their role in fueling the opioid epidemic, we're bringing much-needed funds for addiction treatment, prevention, and recovery to those impacted by this crisis.

Alongside AGs nationwide, we’re opposing @ENERGY’s proposal to roll back regulations that protect Californians from discrimination in federally funded programs.

These rollbacks are an attack on the fundamental American promise of equal opportunity.
We’ve secured a court order halting the Trump Administration's unlawful termination of medical and public health research grants, reinstating funding for research institutions in our states.

The Administration’s illegal attack on NIH grants is an assault on life-saving medical research and on the people who conduct this important work.
In which a federal judge appointed by President Ronald Regan calls out the Trump Administration for discrimination.

Standing up against the Trump Administration’s unlawful behavior isn’t red vs. blue.

It’s right vs. wrong.
Today, our legal team argues in front of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to halt President Trump’s unlawful attempt to federalize our state National Guard and deploy it in L.A.

The Trump Administration’s bid to place military forces on American streets isn’t just immoral, it’s illegal and dangerous.

We look forward to making our case in court.
.@EarthOrg highlighting our lawsuit challenging the Trump Administration’s unlawful attack on CA’s clean vehicles program.

The federal government’s actions are unlawful, politically motivated, and come at the direct expense of the health and well-being of Californians.
Today is Juneteenth.

As we honor the emancipation of the last enslaved African Americans in the U.S., we recognize that there is no honor without action.

The fight continues to fulfill America’s greatest promise: freedom, liberty, and justice for all.

Honored to join @CAGovernor in presenting the Medal of Valor to @CalStateLG Ben Sweet and @SanBernadinoPD Officer Gabriel Rodriguez.

When faced with grave danger, these brave individuals chose to go beyond the call of duty to save innocent lives.

CA owes you a debt of gratitude.
We’ve secured a court order blocking President Trump from withholding critical transportation funds from states who refuse to carry out his inhumane immigration agenda.

He is treating funds that go toward improving our roads and keeping our planes in the air as a bargaining chip.

It’s immoral – and more importantly, illegal.
As California continues to deal with a housing crisis of epic proportions, Newport Beach has said yes to more homes and is endeavoring to build its fair share of housing under California law.

Today, I celebrate a court decision that clears the way for Newport Beach to continue its work. oag.ca.gov/news/press-rel
With all due respect, the greatest “clear and present danger” to California is the man sitting in the White House cutting funding to our communities, militarizing our cities, and attacking our people.
We’re supporting @NPR and @PBS's fight against President Trump’s attempt to cut funding for public media.

In many rural communities, public radio stations are often the main source of local news—including vital information about natural disasters, evacuations, and more.

Gutting a critical communication lifeline is dangerous and unacceptable.
Appreciate your right to disagree. But not to your own made-up “facts”

Fact: CA DOJ works with law enforcement across the state to seize fentanyl, combat organized retail crime, fight human trafficking, and hold people who break the law accountable.
Fact: 400,000 people died from COVID under Trump.
Fact: CA DOJ has never prosecuted a parent for refusing gender-affirming care.

Thank you for living, working, and serving in office in the great state of CA!

Question: Does “15 years of objective failure in every area of measure” include being the 4th largest economy in the world?

Thought: One area where CA can certainly do better is building more housing. Anything you might be able to do to help?
