❓ Why 5.10.246 and not 5.10.248?
1. We intentionally standardized on version 5.10.246 for this release to ensure maximum stability and patch compatibility.
2. SuSFS Hook Reliability: This particular version has been extensively verified to work seamlessly with our SuSFS hook v2.0.0.
3. I believe that newer minor versions like .248 often introduce internal GKI symbol changes (ABI breakage) that can cause conflicts with Xiaomi-specific compatibility patches and advanced stealth modifications.
4. Proven Performance: 5.10.246 provides the best balance between upstream security updates and compatibility with modern root hiding techniques.
5. Version 5.10.246 is more tested and supported for many devices, so I concluded that rather than taking many risks, while looking for solutions to fix some bugs, I will use this kernel version for the future,... have fun
