The Alchemist's Shack
Yippie, 9L of beer
finished the lagering process and quite some sediment settled out of the liquid
decanting the beer to not have any sediment in your drink makes it have a very mild (read: underwhelming) flavor, mixing it with the sediment gives it a nice flavor but that also gives it an off-taste, mixing it with the sediment, then letting it sit for a little to let some of the sediment settle out again however makes it so that it gets the nice flavors from the sediment but only minimal off-taste
id say for my very first beer thats not bad, but next time around ill have to do something about the sediment and that off-taste which might come from the hops but dunno, decanting it more carefully when bottling is probably the way to go since i dont have some big, expensive filtering system and im not going to get one

i still much prefer distilling and winemaking but making some beer from time to time is a nice change of pace
