Back on the grind again
Using the leftovers from the apple brandy and some pear brandy which i accidentally ruined while blending the cuts together
No wonder i couldnt taste anything over the alcohol when it has an ABV of around 80%

4 hours in to the distillation and im still getting more than 50% abv off the spout
Man this is great, in future i think ill always just collect the feints and do an all feints run instead of just pouring it into the wash of the next regular distillation

The time has come for the apple molasses rum
Unfortunately the apple molasses didnt ferment out fully, guess i shouldve used some enzymes to break apart the sugars in it
Gave me around 9% instead of the expected 14%, but thats fine, ive added the bit of feints i got from the sugarbeet rum as well to top up the percentage so ill get a full bottle out of it
Will affect taste a bit but since the apple molasses i used wasnt pure apple molasses anyways but a mix of apple and sugarbeet molasses it should be fine
If this turns out well, ill produce this in a much larger quantity

The time has come for the apple molasses rum
The apple flavor came through nicely in the heads and then very quickly disappeared, rest of the run came out slightly different from the regular sugarbeet rum but not by much
In conclusion, it would probably only work well with 100% pure apple molasses and since the stuff i got my hands on wasnt even remotely that i guess this way of making apple rum wont succeed anytime soon
