Distilling the banana rum now and while previously it barely smelled like bananas, after doing a stripping run and adding a bit of dunder to it as you do with rum, it now smells a whole lot like candy bananas
Unfortunately i pretty much dont taste any banana in the final product
Perhaps after it has aged some time ill be able to taste it but for now it seems that this hasnt been worth the bananas

Well i figured out why it doesnt taste like banana
The yeast i used barely produces any esters, so no banana esters means no banana taste
