At the ASBA training, they told new board members not to open Pandora's box meaning do not go digging into thing. This is what they do to try and hide stuff from new board members.

In the case of HUSD, if Jake Hoffman (who served on the HUSD board) didn't go digging, no one would have known that the superintendent at the time was committing major fraud at the expense of the taxpayers.
