The AltLayer OG Badge NFTs got all minted in about 16 seconds. ⚡️

✨ The NFTs have now been settled on the Ethereum mainnet and the collection is also available on OpenSea.

Last week, AltLayer hosted its first mint event of OG Badge NFTs on a mint-dedicated flash layer. This marked the beginning of an era of application-dedicated disposable execution layers. ✨

A total of 20k users had registered for the event, out of which about 13k addresses were whitelisted. The demand was so high that the event lasted only for about 18 seconds. Unlike other FCFS events, the minters witnessed a flawless user experience devoid of any gas war.

We recorded a TPS of 50 at the peak of the event. To put the number in perspective, the average TPS on the day Optimism received the most traffic was 5.6 TPS, while, the corresponding TPS recorded for Arbitrum was 3.3 TPS. We performed better than the best in the market. Hooray! 🥳
