We’ve also integrated our first add-on: the 1RPC powered by @ Automata Network. This feature protects #Web3 user privacy when accessing RPC (Remote procedure call) endpoints, so that user metadata (IP address, device, wallet info) stays safe.

📢LEADERSHIP UPDATE: Altlayer appoints blockchain veteran Amrit Kumar as COO

We are honoured and delighted to welcome blockchain veteran Amrit Kumar to the Altlayer family. As COO, he will drive forward our vision & our global operations strategy as we build rollups-as-a-service for the #Web3, #GameFi, Metaverse and NFT worlds. 

Previously, Kumar co-founded Zilliqa Research with Dr. Yaoqi Jia, who is CEO and Founder of AltLayer. At Zilliqa, Kumar took the roles of President and Chief Science Officer. He researched at the National University of Singapore and has a PhD in Computer Science from France’s National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (INRIA).

Amrit's expertise and leadership will elevate our game, and help Altlayer soar.

As someone who has undertaken extensive research on scalability, Patrick spoke about three different resources critical to scalability namely: computation, storage and bandwidth.

He outlined the promise of rollups, and the current issues to consider within the landscape. The speaker and host also discuss whether or not application-specific rollouts are a promising solution for emerging dApps in Web3, and what’s needed to help it come to fruition as a product.
