In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
- Psalm 46:1 KJB

This verse speaks to us how near God is during the storms of life and our hardest moments.

Having God does not mean love will be free of storms and trials, but it does mean we will never be alone. God promised to never leave us nor forsake us(Deu 31:6)!

The presence of God is our source of unshakable, unrelenting, and unwaivering peace!

Romans 8:31 declares: "If God be for us, who can be against us?".
Our Father, the Most High, Creator of all things is on our side, and that gives us the confidence and strength to get back up, endure, keep walking and keep persisting; no matter what comes our way or what we experience!

Our peace doesn't come from circumstances, emotions, or feelings, but from knowing that God's love, power, will, and timing are perfect.

God promised all things work together for good to them that love Him(Romans 8:28). Trust in His words and promises; claim them and walk in them. Stand tall, and confident in Him, as your foundation and your strength.

So put on your armour of God, daily, and fight!

God is with us!

Kaparot is a traditional Jewish ritual performed right before Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. But despite how it’s practiced in some communities today, the ritual is not noscripturally mandated. It’s a custom, not Torah law.

In this ritual, practitioners recite a prayer to symbolically transfer their sins onto a live chicken. These are often five-week-old birds, crammed into crates without food or water for days. After the prayer, the chickens are handed over to kosher butchers for slaughter.

But this is more than just animal cruelty. The entire concept of transferring guilt or sin onto another living being, killing it, and walking away “cleansed” is at the core of sacrificial systems.

Understand that this isn’t just about a tradition or a ritual, it’s a microcosm of a whole mindset. A public display of a deeper pattern like scapegoating, blood sacrifice, and desensitization to life. When you normalize the ritual slaughter of innocent creatures, you teach people to justify larger sacrifices. – Source
