Knowledge requires understanding. Understanding emerges through logic and reasoning, which create comprehension through complex cognitive processes of the mind.

Human intellect, however, has its limitations because it is finite - therefore, we possess limited cognitive capacity. We cannot comprehend the fullness of human knowledge, just as we cannot pour an ocean into a bucket.

If we cannot even comprehend the entirety of human knowledge, how then are we supposed to comprehend the fullness of GOD? Any person with sound rationality will understand that such an attempt would be an act of foolishness.

This is why faith is necessary - because through faith, you receive something even greater than understanding: you receive wisdom. GOD, through faith, becomes the ultimate source of wisdom. Wisdom provides a higher form of understanding.

Within human intellect, knowledge precedes understanding. Through faith, however, GOD precedes wisdom and becomes the ultimate source of knowledge - thus, the roles are reversed.

This explains why those who lack faith fail to understand things that appear with such simplicity to the faithful. The first are rooted purely in human understanding and the second within the Divine Revelation.

Just as a child trusts their parent before understanding their guidance, faith opens the door to divine wisdom before full comprehension. This divine wisdom then illuminates our path to understanding spiritual truths that remain hidden to purely intellectual means.

The finite cannot grasp the infinite through its own power - it requires a bridge, and that bridge is faith. Through faith, we transcend the limitations of human reasoning and enter into a deeper realm of understanding that flows from divine wisdom.

For in spiritual matters, wisdom precedes understanding, and wisdom comes not through intellectual might, but through faithful surrender to Divine Revelation.
