Together, we aim to create over 300,000 dignified job opportunities for Ethiopian youth.

Wondwesen Zewdie, Managing Partner of R&D Group and Founding President of the Ethiopian Outsourcing Association, joined “MeliaCRED Conversations with Elvis”, hosted by Elvis Melia a changemaker in Africa’s GBS and AI landscape.
He discussed R&D Group’s 15-year journey as a pioneering BPO firm in Ethiopia, providing global data annotation and software development. Their AI work, starting with basic QA support, evolved into AnnotatePlus, an AI-powered data labeling platform now used across industries beyond sports.
Wondwesen also highlighted Ethiopia’s rise as a global outsourcing hub, driven by a tech-driven generation shaping AI and digital services.
