🔴 Escalation of protests in Indonesia.
The protests began on August 27 after parliament approved for its members a house allowance equivalent to $3,100 in a country where the average salary is $300.
This is why they are demanding the resignation of the president, parliament, and the police chief.
Yesterday, August 28, the first person, Affan Kurniawan, a motorcycle taxi driver, was killed by police. From then on, the protests became massive, and the police response became more violent, resulting in hundreds of injuries and even ambushes of ambulances transporting them.
Since yesterday, protesters have successfully attacked police stations, police resorts, and parliament.
The military's intervention has also been noted, placing itself between the protesters and the police for peacekeeping purposes.

Municipal elections in Georgia began at 8:00 a.m. local time. Citizens are voting to elect 2,058 members of 64 municipal councils and 64 mayors.
Twelve parties are taking part in the vote. In 26 cities and municipalities, the ruling Georgian Dream party has fielded the only mayoral candidates. Major opposition parties are boycotting the elections, calling them a “farce” and a “Russian special operation.”
The elections are being held against a backdrop of political repression targeting opposition figures and civil society. As a result, a massive protest is taking place in central Tbilisi.
Participants are carrying flags of Georgia, the European Union, the United States, and Ukraine, along with posters bearing anti-government slogans and photos of political prisoners — activists, journalists, and politicians detained after the protests that began late last year.

On silencing voices from Eastern Europe at anarchist events in EU
Over the past few years, quite a few organizations and groups have appeared in the anarchist milieu that actively exclude activists from “Solidarity Collectives”, “ABC-Belarus”, and a number of other anarchist and anti-authoritarian organizations from public events, blocking their participation and writing various kinds of “statements” condemning their work in support of Ukrainian resistance to the Russian invasion. The basis for such behavior is often the distorted positions of activists from Eastern Europe on the war. Anarchists are accused of becoming militarists, supporting the war, and not being critical enough of the Ukrainian state.

In our opinion, such behavior is not worthy of the anarchist movement — we believe in the need for dialogue on controversial issues. Attempts to force anarchists to say the “right” things so that Western comrades are willing to listen to them and donate to them look like coercion. We do not consider the work of the “Solidarity Collectives” and “ABC-Belarus” to be in any way pro-war or supportive of state militarism. We categorically condemn any attempts to isolate anarchist collectives from Eastern Europe on the issue of the Russian regime’s military expansion.
We call on other anarchist collectives to show solidarity with anarchists who are fighting here and now against the regimes of Putin and Lukashenko with weapons or stones in their hands. Resistance to the state is not possible without solidarity, critical thinking, and dialogue on complex political issues.

Было опубликовано коллективное обращение русскоязычных анархических коллективов по продолжающемуся российскому империалистическому вторжению в Украину и реакции анархисто:к на него. Боевая организация анархо-коммунистов присоединилась к обращению.
БОАК не просто солидарна с украинским сопротивлением — мы его часть. С самого начала полномасштабной войны мы вступили в активную фазу борьбы с фашистским российским режимом. Это выражалось как в партизанских действиях на территории российского государства, так и в участии в действующих в Украине вооружённых структурах. Нашей целью, как и целью многих близких нам товарище:к, была организованная и скоординированная борьба с российским фашизмом и колониализмом, а также формирование анархического движения в революционную самостоятельную силу, которая могла бы защищать общество и организовывать его в соответствии с либертарными принципами.
Как писал в своём послании один из создателей Боевой организации анархо-коммунистов, героически погибший под Бахмутом мученик Дмитрий Петров, нам удалось повести революционную борьбу по разные стороны государственных границ. Связанные с БОАК товарищ:ки участвовали в партизанских атаках в России, а также использовали имеющиеся возможности приезда в Украину для того, чтобы взять в руки оружие и присоединиться к организованной коллективной борьбе. Одним из таких бойцов был наш товарищ, мученик Владислав Юрченко, героически погибший при высадке украинских ДРГ на Кинбурнской косе.
Нами также велся и ведётся идеологический анализ участия революционных анархических сил в украинском сопротивлении. Примерами такого анализа являются статья Дмитрия Петрова «Четыре месяца в Антиавторитарном взводе в Украине» и более поздние статьи. Полученный нами опыт будет использован в дальнейшей борьбе.
