In the grand tapestry of time, an event emerges: System Dialog, a convergence of musically kindred spirits and their daring sound systems. This experiment aims to stir the winds of cross-pollination, igniting the evolutionary spark of our musical quests.

Orchestrated by Appendix.files, Poems, Risikoanlage, and Backsteinboot, this inaugural gathering unfolds in the dappled shade before the Backsteinboot, where tree shadows and gentle breezes set the stage this dialog.

As the sun sets, the event will transition upstairs to let the night evoke the next musical progression.

A clear note: System Dialog champions diversity and inclusivity, rejecting all forms of aggression, discrimination, or violence. Here, we forge not just music, but the essence of our collective evolution.

We first heard gi in 2022 with tracks like 'hider' and 'thrashing'. her palette immediately tickled my ear buds. around this time last year we heard 'Orange Chorus Blonde Reveal' and was absolutely taken by it! To my delight, I later received a message from her asking for a show in Berlin, and honestly, what better venue for her sound than kwia?

gi’s set feels like walking through fog—haunting and intimate, delicate yet defiant. Her soundscapes are for those who don’t seek clear answers, but instead, savor the mystery. A slow drift through poetic reflections on self, space, and the borders we construct between them, she moves between silence and expression, fragile but unbreakable.

Now settled in Berlin after traversing Istanbul and London, Sami Baha crafts music that pulses with deep, moody energy––Infused by the melancholy of Turkish Arabesk and the heated bitumen of the Dirty South. His sound could span continents, as a sonic collage jumping with explosive samples and miles-deep bass that will shake the watery mass you call a body.

🔊 Expect an evening where sound becomes a force, where each note drifts like a signal in the dark, and the beats are a visceral reminder that something greater lurks beneath the surface.

Paris-based label, @electromngr, make their return to Berlin with a special release party – this time at the scenic top floor warehouse of Backsteinboot.

Saturday 16th November
8pm — 6am at Backsteinboot with King Softy (live), Spivak (live), Thodén, Xenia Reaper, Riin, Karl Nectar (live), and Electroménager Soundsystem

The ideal space to host a selection of international and local artists from their roster and beyond as a celebration of the release of King Softy‘s debut album, "Scanner’s Plateau".

A collaborative project born of Berlin and beyond, this night aims to reflect much of the same spirit. Running through 8 to 6am will be a selection of artists that embody much of the functional eclecticism and ethereal intimacy of the project itself.
