APY Token Utility, Roadmap and More!

This week was all about preparing for our liquidity mining rewards kickoff. We listened to our community’s concerns about having a fair launch, and we decided that one of the best ways to get the APY token into the hands of early supporters was to start our liquidity mining as soon as possible. We’ve been preparing our APY liquidity pool contract for mainnet deployment by implementing an upgradeable proxy contract and overhauling our testing suite. The proxy contract allows us to release updates to the contract without requiring users to migrate over to a new pool. The comprehensive testing gives us the code coverage we need to feel confident that user funds will be safe in the APY liquidity pool.

While we will open up the liquidity pool for deposits so users can start earning APY, we will not enable strategies just yet. Users will be issued APT LP tokens to denote their share of the APY liquidity pool (similar to curve or Balancer LP token), and we will be issuing rewards to the APT LP token holders.

We are talking with a security firm about getting an audit for the liquidity contract before release to further ensure the safety of user deposits. While many in DeFi right now are taking a casual approach to smart contract security, we have not forgotten the Parity hack.

The UI for the APY liquidity pool is almost complete and should make it easy for anyone with MetaMask to make their deposit to earn APY.

Finally, we released our long awaited token utility and economics article. We gave insight into our token distribution, our raise, and the utility of the APY token. We also outlined our roadmap to full community governance and announced our public liquidity rewards program.

Great news! To support our community journey to learn about APY.Finance and Yield farming, we are proposing a quiz campaign.

We will launch the quiz campaign on 22nd Sept and will be active till 26th Sept (for five days). During this period, each day, three questions will be asked. The First two people to answer correctly will be rewarded with APY tokens.

The winners award will be distributed post three weeks of the TGE (Token Generation Event) at the market price rate.

✅Key information:

1) The question will be posted on Telegram at 3:00 PM GMT (+0) during the campaign period.

2) Questions will be multiple choice

3) First-person to answer right gets $10 APY, and the second person gets $5 APY tokens.

4) Information about winners will be captured by our administrator (@Jms_232). The winners of each session should send their ERC20 address and Twitter and Medium handle to James @jms_232 for verification.

5) To be eligible, participants must join APY.Finance subscribe our Twitter page, subscribe our Medium and Announcement channel

✨ APY.Finance launches Liquidity Mining from October 1. Early supporters will be able to deposit stable coins (DAI, USDC, USDT) into the deployed APY.Finance liquidity contract and begin vesting the APY governance token.

✨ The goal is to bootstrap a large and diverse user base, and aim to get the fair distribution of APY tokens into the hands of early supporters.

Logic contracts:
There is a separate contract for each deposit asset. These contracts work in tandem to form the APY liquidity pool. APY rewards are based on the total notional value of all three contracts. No asset will have an advantage over the other when determining rewards.
