👉 We are ready with our plans for LP Liquidity Program. The program incentivizes those that provide liquidity on @UniswapProtocol and @BalancerLabs.

👨‍🦰👱‍♀️Who are LPs:
Liquidity providers (LP) promote healthier liquidity in the ecosystem. Anyone can become a liquidity provider by depositing tokens into a smart contract and receive pool tokens in return.

🔥 Details about LP incentive program:

1️⃣ Token holders that provide liquidity to Uniswap and Balancer are able to earn APY token rewards via the Reward UI. The Reward UI will be available on Nov 13th.
2️⃣ Token holders that provided liquidity before Nov 13th will be retroactively rewarded.
3️⃣ 5,000 APY tokens per day will be rewarded to each pool in Uniswap and Balancer.

🌐 We’ve completed noscripts for compiling calldata sequences and are testing Curve sequences with our strategy executor contract.

☑️ We upgraded from builder to hardhat. This is the latest version of a development framework for smart contracts.

☑️ Etherscan verification is fully functional and working for our proxy contracts using the latest version of hardhat.

☑️ We've developed noscripts to assemble calldata sequences for strategy simulation and deployment to generic executor contracts. Sequences are simulated first, to verify successful execution, before being pushed on-chain. We will also be implementing more checks for verification of simulations to account for function calls that return error codes instead of reverting.

🚀 Alpha Demo

🔸 We're continuing to work on an early Alpha build to be able to share a demo video, running on a forked mainnet, showing functionality such as funds being deposited and capital being deployed to contracts and strategies. We are crunching to have this complete and ready to share as soon as possible. We'll be sure to notify the community as soon as this demo is available.

📤 Smart Contract Development

☑️ We are finalizing the structure of APY managers with liquidity pools and strategy proxies. The system will allow for managers running in parallel so portions of capital can be used with alpha strategies that are still being proven.

☑️ Our developers are using various Curve sequence strategies to deploy capital, which are currently working, and we're finalizing the bridge between the APY manager and the strategies executed by the general executor contract.

☑️ Our developers have begun the evaluation of minimal proxy factories that will allow a single executor contract to segment the control of assets for each strategy. This will allow us to scale up the strategies in a more gas-efficient way, saving on fees.

☑️ We are currently finishing some calculation tests for mAPT testing. We are currently testing full integration with the pools, which will first require updated functionality with redeem and withdraw functions.

☑️ We've implemented a node noscript for updating rewards services. This includes resetting and refunding the staking contracts as well as topping up the liquidity mining claims contract.

☑️ We’ve developed token registration functionality for the StrategyFactory so the Chainlink registry will track any new assets that are required for computing TVL values with Chainlink.

🔹 As our strategy page continues to develop, our front-end engineers are iterating on strategy charts, rebalancing, risk:reward stats for each strategy and more.

🔹 We are adding a function to the strategy page that will display the protocol token or asset currently being farmed.

🔹 We are allowing some toggling features to the chart (time periods) and the earnings breakdown container (switching between % and $).

🔹 We’re wiring the front-end for various APIs and smart contracts to pull and display ROI data for various strategies.

🔶 It is a priority for our team at APY.Finance to listen to feedback and constructive criticism from our amazing community, and implement it wherever possible. We understand that this video may have been a bit technical, as we were simply very excited to share the progress we’ve made on the Alpha build thus far. Going forward, we are going to make an effort to simplify the content a bit more, so even those who aren’t coders will easily be able to understand.

🔶 A bit further down the pipeline, this will also include creating a baseline of structured content, tutorials, etc. of varied aspects of DeFi and yield farming to help make learning the concepts, as well as the software, as simple for individual traders as possible.

🔮 What’s Next?

While we’ve continued to make significant progress on an Alpha build iteration that is approaching launch, we still have a bit of work to do before we can comfortably release the final build on mainnet.

- Iterating on Chainlink implementation
- Front-running mitigation.

🌐 Front-End

🔹 Our front-end is currently working on refactoring and optimizing the TVLContext and StrategiesContext. This includes using a useReducer hook to simplify state changes, and also fixing the multiple re-renders.

🔹 We’re currently evaluating possible additions to the strategy page, and redesigning the rewards page to make the UI simpler and easier to use.

🔹 We’re refactoring the front-end components for extensibility so we can seamlessly incorporate new strategies in the dashboard as they are developed.

🔹 Our front-end developers are fine-tuning the responsive design of the site, including tweaks to various forms to accommodate new functionality, such as sliders, and new triggers.

🔹 We’re pushing forward a landing page with a fresh, upgraded look, in preparation for the Alpha launch.

🗳 Smart Contract Development

✅ We’ve begun evaluating potential pain points and upgrades to the system based on feedback from the Alpha demo.

✅ Our current focus is on smoothing out the mechanics around the withdrawal process. It allows for instant withdrawals while still keeping gas costs low in the majority of use cases.

✅ We’ve designed an architecture that maintains a small reserve pool using APT and mAPT to accomplish the above.

✅ We are streamlining the rebalance sequences to improve the atomicity of the transactions.

✅ We are also evaluating potential liquidity pool updates made to better handle our mAPT.
