A very helpful noscript to organise your Google takeout images in chronological order

As I use Archlinux we will use AUR pkgs to install gpth (Google photos takeout helper).
* AUR (link pkg)
(see post for windows & MacOs guide from here)

1. Take your Google takeout zips and extract in a single folder

2. Open terminal and Run from gpth directory

gpth

3. Or open directory of gpth
And give executable permissions

chmod +x gpth-linux

4.

./gpth-linux

**⚠️ Read on screen instructions very carefully
Follow on screen instructions

Now copy your photos from export folder to your device

Use Simple gallery (as it usually keeps original file creation time when moving files)

Select all your photos from simple gallery for backup share it to your Google photos.

**** As of now I have didn't check for gps location save so use at your on risk (Always save orginal pics & videos in backup drive)

Update : After copying files to mobile date and time change to current date.
(Workaround - select year/monthwise in gpth list. Make a zip file of corrected files copy to device, now extract in a folder doneee.
Now all images & videos will show in correct sequence)

## 🚨 SCAM ALERT! 🚨 Fake Play Integrity Fixes That Can Brick Your Phone!

Hey everyone, pay attention! Play integrity issues are common these days, but the solutions are usually easy. Unfortunately, some people are exploiting this with fake "fixes" that actually contain dangerous code designed to ruin your phone!

This is what happened to me:

Last night, a user with the ID 7402776516 messaged me about a "PIF fork module" that supposedly fixes play integrity issues. I was tired and didn't think twice, so I agreed to use it later.

When I looked at the module's code this morning, I was horrified! It contained malicious code that could completely destroy my phone.

Thankfully, I recognized the danger and didn't proceed. But many people wouldn't be so lucky.

Here's what you need to know:

• Never download modules from unknown sources or shady websites.
• Only trust official release channels or reputable developers.
• Be wary of unsolicited messages about "play integrity fixes," especially those from unfamiliar users.
• If you're unsure about anything, ask a tech-savvy friend for help.

Remember: Your phone is valuable. Don't let anyone trick you into ruining it!
