Important points during students’ satisfaction survey questionnaire
1. Read Each Question Carefully: All questions pertain to academic activities, so
it's crucial for students to read and understand each question thoroughly before
selecting an option.
2. Attendance is Mandatory: The number of active students each year should match
the number of students who submit the questionnaire form. The department by any
means will verify students who fail to submit the questionnaire response. All
students will also be notified of their response via their entered email.
3. Detecting Careless Responses: Careless choices can be identified through various
indicators. Here are three
Time Taken: If a student completes the questionnaire in less than 5 minutes,
this can be tracked by the difference between end timestamp and start
timestamp.
Uniform Responses: If a student selects the same option for all questions or
use repeated patterns, these patterns can be detected.
Consistency Checking: Similar questions are asked from different angles for
consistency checking. For instance, if a student selects option 1 for the first
question, the same student is expected to choose option 1 or a closely similar
option for subsequent related question. Choosing an opposing option for similar
question would indicate inconsistency or filling without reading so can be
identified.
4. All students have the right to choose any option from the alternatives which
match their opinion.
By being mindful of these points, students can ensure their
responses are thoughtful and reflective of their true experiences.
