Extremely interesting thought:
You know how when you’re in a flow state reality becomes more malleable and you can see and feel your potential?
In this expanded state your metabolism is increased and you’re able to be very creative.
You feel very much alive.
It might just so be that babies experience this state naturally due to their extremely high metabolism.
Rather than through drugs, such a child-like state of open/full perception could be restored by increasing exposure to novel situations and freeing yourself from authoritarian minds.

The folder above is my upload of 7 MP4 files from
Your Baby Can Read: For those here who allow screen time, I attach a few videos of an old series teaching your child how to read, maybe even before they can speak. The videos play hundreds of spoken and written words. Each multi-sensory, interactive video also includes songs, poems, and a word game segment. The video series is suitable for babies from 6 months to children aged 5 years.

Bilingualism is a remarkable cognitive skill that offers numerous advantages to individuals, particularly those who develop proficiency in more than one language during their formative years.
Bilingualism has also been correlated with an early development of metalinguistic awareness—the capacity to consciously reflect on the essence of language. This, in turn, contributes to the child's advanced comprehension of semiotics, particularly the doctrine of signs, with (as posited by John Locke) words being the most prevalent signs around us. It comes as no surprise that research consistently supports the proposition that bilingual children tend to exhibit superior cognitive control compared to their monolingual counterparts.
To authentically hope for bilingualism in our baby, we need to spend around 30% of the week speaking the language that we hope they will use.

Answers to some common questions about bilingualism taken from a book by Colin Baker - A teachers and parents guide to Bilingualism.
1. Is it better to develop two languages together or one language later than the other?
2. Is it better for my child to learn a language early to secure better storage in the brain?
3. Will learning a second language interfere with the development of the first language?

Maybe a few of you have noticed, I've definitely slowed down this week and it's not just because of Christmas. The reason is, I've been fighting with web hosting services, who, as stories have it, have deactivated my almost-complete website with no explanation or warning. Either way, took me making a website from scratch 3 or 4 times for it to finally stay up but it's finally up for good (hopefully).

Studies: Soy formula is filling babies with harmful xenoestrogens.
- Xenoestrogens have a much bigger impact on babies than adults.
- Soy formula contains such a high concentration of xenoestrogens that it alters the physical development of babies.
"Relative to girls fed cow-milk formula, those fed soy formula demonstrated tissue- and organ-level developmental trajectories consistent with response to exogenous estrogen exposure." Source
"The daily exposure of infants to isoflavones in soy infant-formulas is 6-11 fold higher on a bodyweight basis than the dose that has hormonal effects in adults consuming soy foods."
"Circulating concentrations of isoflavones in the seven infants fed soy-based formula were 13000-22000 times higher than plasma oestradiol concentrations in early life, and may be sufficient to exert biological effects, whereas the contribution of isoflavones from breast-milk and cow-milk is negligible." The Value of Christmas Traditions:
The transmission of deeper meaning between generations occurs through a combination of symbolic actions, narratives, and heritage.
Because of this, Christmas is best spent among the oldest and youngest of your family.
Symbolic actions make us embody the values which they represent; gift-giving (a psychologically recognised love language) embodies selflessness and creates good karma for the upcoming year. Feasting transcribes meta-meaning to every traditional meal.
The Christmas stories we tell our children convey culture, religion and beliefs. When we tell them, we create a shared identity within our household and connect to our ancestry.
Every late December, it's important to exchange gifts, sing, gather, talk together and dress up the Christmas Tree.

Visiting Relatives With Your Kids:
1️⃣ Relax - Don't try to force your relatives into your own rules, it won't work well. Lemon balm tea calms the nerves (mixed info on use during breastfeeding) and try to limit your own coffee intake for lower anxiety.
2️⃣ Bring your own food - Healthy seedoil-free snacks for the kids, so that they'll never be hungry enough to take the "food" your relatives offer.
3️⃣ Don't stay too long - It's only after a few days (sometimes hours) that you notice (or the kids find) everything dangerous in the house.
4️⃣ Leave on good terms - Sometimes this is easy, sometimes very hard. Family stays family and no matter how much you don't get a long, it benefits everyone to leave on a good note. Now that your babies are involved, it's not just your relationship with the family, it's theirs.
5️⃣ Try to keep the environment familiar for your babies - bring their favourite toy, keep the same bed routine, etc. Prepare for this in advance.
