So many activities you can do with painted stones

Parents don't want to hear this, but the most rewarding path for your child is the one that requires the most effort.

- Cooking nutritious homemade meals always beats fast food.
- Choosing not to put on cartoons, even when tired after a whole day.
- Thoughtfully considering your choice of their toys.
- Teaching them early instead of waiting for them to magically learn by themselves.

And, most importantly, giving your full attention when taking care of your baby, (rather than half-watching them while browsing social media on your phone), provides them the attention they need.

A few years ago there was a viral video, where a man talked to jars of rice; he told one he loved it, ignored one, and told one he hated it. You can see the results on the video. I haven't done this myself (maybe a fun experiment to do with the kids?) But I definitely know that vibrations that come with our words and intentions affect us and change us on a molecular level. Imagine the rice as people, as our children, and all our words affecting them to their physical core. https://youtu.be/zvShgttIq7I?si=0dkWwRBrxnZTCSNO

Recommended amount of time to spend on homeschooling per day. A lot less time is required with focused learning at home than in a public school classroom.

Some parents in the pre-war 20th century put their babies in "window cribs" that hung out the window to give them fresh air.

The child and toddler attention spectrum: any attention is considered a reward by the psyche. Understanding this can resolve a lot of your child's behavioural issues and can also prevent attachment disorders (aka daddy issues) in their older years.

There are two famous home-made formula recipes: the Weston A. Price formula, and this one, the Mt. Capra formula. This one is with goat milk instead of cows milk and recommends slightly different ingredients. Homemade formulas are the last resort, if breastmilk is not an option. I also found this useful for weaning (at around 12 months)

The controlled crying sleep training technique. Should be used after 6 months of age, if the pick up put down and the chair method haven't worked, and co-sleeping isn't helping.

The mother and the child both need to be well rested.

If you're on birth control and want to come off of it, or you've already gone through the process of ditching this incredibly toxic substance, it's invaluable to note that YOU HAVE TO DETOX. Effects can last for decades. This is not as easy as dropping the pill or injection, waiting for your cycle to return to *normal* and carrying on with your life.

There are a few things that help with this detox process and are crucial for your long-term health as a woman. You need substances that bind to excess hormones and toxins and flush them out (and NO, this does not just happen without a little extra help):

1. Psyllium husk powder (if beans are not an option). Take with lots of water afterwards.
2. Beans/ legumes - chickpeas (hummus - is a great way to incorporate this), kidney beans, lentils, and black beans.
3. Raw carrot salad (I'll post the easiest recipe below this post)
4. Zeolite (clinoptilolite)

All of this has also been instrumental in my own journey back to health and fertility and can be incorporated into any regime or nutrition plan for PCOS, endometriosis, ovulation pain, PMS, ovarian cysts etc.

Apologies for the recent slow-posting, I'm writing a long seed oils article because there needs to be one here.
