Only a small group of crypto-pagans held leadership-roles, most of which planned on eventually overthrowing the Reich, such as Bormann.

What happened to Christianity? It was protected in the 25 Point Program of National Socialism; the Church and State were in unison with each other. Hundreds of churches were built and nearly a billion reichsmarks were distributed to the churches. Christianity became known as one of the four "iron pillars" of the national education system.
