The only resource is TIME.
Because that's the only thing you can never make more of.
I'll tell you how to maximize it in just a second.
But first let me explain something extremely important:
The thing is time itself is immensely related to attention.
What I'm about to say should come as no surprise:
Everyone is fighting for your attention.
Your work.
Your family.
The posts you see online.
The movies you watch.
The ads on Youtube.
Youtube videos.
Youtubers themselves.
And every platform that deems itself a "social network".
If you are not in control of your attention, you are not control of your time.
If you are not in control of your time, you are not in control of your life.
Bottom line?
If you are not in control of your attention, you have no power over your life.
Let me share with you something that I've previously emphasized many times but you probably forgot about.
How do you take control of your attention?
It's called meta-attention and it's very simple:
PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU PAY ATTENTION TO.
It sounds silly but this is the only way it works.
You should be constantly evaluating and questioning what you're doing.
"How does this get me closer to my goals?"
"How does this help me fulfill my potential?"
If you don't ask the right questions, you'll never reach the right conclusions.
If you simple develop the habit of paying attention to what attracts your attention then shifting your focus to what matters, nothing can waste your time anymore.
This is how you take control.
Ask yourself the right questions.
Draw the right conclusions.
Stay in control.
Acknowledge that everyone and everything want you to pay attention to what they're doing.
Because your time and attention is monetized.
People make money off of you dedicating your time to them.
This is the world and economy we now live in.
Do not let yourself be distracted.
It's called "PAYING" attention for a reason.
It's hella costly.
Don't go broke.
Much love, E-go.
Because that's the only thing you can never make more of.

Real mental strength comes from an aligned integrity.
When your actions match your beliefs and values.
If you think something is right, do it.
If you think something is wrong, don't do it.
It's that simple.
There is no greater source of happiness and security than knowing that you behave exactly like you'd expect to behave.
Nothing comes close to the feeling of being aligned with what you value and believe to be right.
Every time you disrespect your beliefs and values, a part of you takes a massive hit.
You aren't in phase with yourself.
It will always feel like betrayal.
This applies to everything.
From procrastination to cheating and any other negative actions that you deem not worthy or wrong.
Define your own moral compass.
Respect it until the day you die.
There is no other way to live a truly fulfilled life.

Back in 2021, I wrote a book.
"How to Achieve Self-Sufficiency" was the noscript of the book, you might have read it.
Back then, one of the most important things I emphasized on was the necessity for isolation and a bit of social withdrawal.
I still stand by that.
Even if the subject line of this email suggests otherwise.
It will all make sense in a minute.
Now imagine this...
You're a busy person with a lot on your plate (I don't think you need to imagine - this is probably the case).
You have infinite ideas and several projects you want to work on.
But time is finite and you can't wrap your head around getting those things done.
So you take a weekend off.
You go somewhere quiet, all by yourself and focus on one of the projects you intended to do for a long time.
In the peaceful and isolated environment you're in, you manage to make crazy progress and let's even say you finish it altogether.
Now the conclusion you reach over that weekend is that you need to cut out everyone if you want to make real progress.
Now, that makes you think that isolation is the secret.
You know, going "Monk mode" as they say.
You need to spend more time alone and "grind".
And you wouldn't be wrong.
You go back to your routine on Monday and you start limiting all interactions with people.
You start making progress fast.
A year goes by.
You've accumulated numerous wins and achievements and made real progress in your life in general.
Except... you have nobody to celebrate with.
Yes, blocking distractions out and giving your focus solely to one task is probably a great idea if you want to make quick progress.
But make that a habit and loneliness starts kicking in.
Truth is, you probably enjoyed very few moments over the past year.
Was it worth it?
Yea definitely.
Nothing better than reaching the goals you set for yourself.
Is it sustainable?
Absolutely not?
Is there any other way of doing things?
Well I'll get there in a second.
But before that I'd like you to clearly understand my stance:
Isolation is great for rapid progress.
But progressing alone makes you miserable.
In fact, the more isolated you are the more negative emotions start kicking in.
And even that "Mojo" you had from isolating yourself starts fading away.
Because of a lack of socialization, you start living in a sort of echo chamber where no new information comes in and no new events happen.
All there is? The grind.
Day in. Day out.
One week after another.
One month after another.
Until life starts feeling dull.
And this could have been avoided.
Haven't you been so extreme.
In fact, you could probably have even progressed faster and went further in your projects have you been a little bit more open to the world.
There is a limit to what you can do alone.
But being a social person truly opens up doors of opportunity you wouldn't even have expected.
There is a balance to keep between isolating for focus and socializing for the numerous benefits it has.
The truth is, monk mode is not really the answer.
The answer is proper time management.
A state in which you can balance your time alone while still making meaningful connections.
A state in which you don't let either your work or social life eat up the other.
You know...
A balanced life.
You've heard of the fucked up work-life balance.
People tend to overwork and neglect themselves.
Well that's avoidable.
It's avoidable with proper social skills and self-control.
I won't spill all the beans now.
But I'll explain everything in the next email.

There is only one thing that separates smart from dumb people.
And that’s the attention to detail.
A bit of curiosity coupled with an analytical mind when needed.
And honestly?
Everyone has that.
It’s nothing special.
But your brainpower is limited, if you spend it on trivial thoughts and overthinking simple things you won’t have enough of it when situations call for it.
Question. Notice. Deconstruct. Restructure. Conclude. Experiment. That’s how you train your mind.
I might be wrong but I strongly believe everyone has what it takes to be smart.
As long as your attention is directed towards the right things.

If you don’t learn to stand your ground, you will keep inviting predatory motherfuckers into your life subconsciously.
Those people prey on people who “allow” things to happen; they look for people who will let them overstep without resistance.
Being uncompromising isn’t about being reactive.
Far from that.
It’s about being proactive and setting the standards for how people should behave around you.
You’ve probably heard and read about “reacting” versus “responding”.
The truth is that the best way to respond is to make it look like a reaction.
Not every situation calls for a calm and thoughtful response.
Sometimes you have to make it look like an anger fueled emotional reaction.
Leveraging the seeming anger to make a point and draw a line.
Because most people, especially the ill intentioned one, tend to ignore the calm response but understand the emotional reaction.
Use that in your favor.
And when other predatory idiots see that, they stay away from you.
Because they know and realize that their bullshit will not be tolerated around you.

You will always crave validation if your self-image is not validated.
You will always behave in ways you end up regretting if your motivation is external.
If you do what you do to live up to other people's standards, you're a puppet in someone else's play.
The worst part?
That someone else might not even be aware of it.
So really all you're doing is manipulating yourself with false expectations and lies that you made up.
The truth?
Social desirability is an innate need of ours.
We're human and we need to socialize properly.
But we were taught that pleasing people and being liked by conforming and complying to social demands was the way.
That's wrong.
You can be socially desirable, likable and genuinely appreciated without seeking approval.
You need two things:
- A validated self-image (a strong ego)
- Proper social skills
You can easily navigate any social scenario this way and without ever compromising on your own values, never betraying yourself and acting in ways you'd later regret.
Detach yourself from people's judgement and they'll judge you favorably.
Be a try-hard and they'll hate you for it.
