YOU CANNOT ESCAPE YOURSELF, YOU CAN ONLY RUN FOR SO LONG
Grand Rising, yesterday night, I made a tweet that I think is one of the most important ones I've ever posted:
Pain is necessary and inevitable.
But you get to choose which pain you go through.
It's either a conscious, self-inflicted pain of growth that leads to fulfilling your potential.
Or a pain of escapism and denial that leads to nothing but more useless pain.
Choice is yours.
Do you embrace it or do you want to be scared of it?
Do you want it to take you places or do you want to run from it your whole life?
Not choosing means choosing to be scared and to run away.
Because that's the easy way.
Nothing good comes from that.
Stop being a coward.
You will always have to make sacrifices.
Nothing is free.
But one thing you should never do is sacrifice yourself and your time.
Because that's all you have.
Yourself and your time.
The reason I insist on this today is because most people agree with this but do not understand it.
I believe that life is about balance, as such, nothing good comes without another counter "negative" counter balancing.
I don't think I need to illustrate this but you have to understand that what can seem as sacrifices at first is in fact the essence of making it.
It is that tough process you go through, that self-control you impose on yourself, that "pain" that you have to endure that make it all worth it.
While at first it might seem overwhelming or hard, you soon realize that you actually enjoy doing these things.
People wake up at 5am excited to work on themselves, people have to force themselves before they can start enjoying it.
But it's about results.
It is when you start seeing your first results that you start taking yourself seriously.
This is applicable to everything.
Gym, business, studies etc....
No.
When I say you will have to make sacrifices, I mean that you will need to break out of your self-imposed prison, you will need to shift your way of thinking and focus on what you truly want to achieve.
Because, as I said, once you start seeing the first results, you start doing those sacrifices happily.
You'll pass on junk food, nights out and sometimes even family time.
No matter what it is you want to achieve, you will ALWAYS have to pass on some things to get others.
But once you start getting those other things you were aiming for, you start to realize that it was all worth it.
It only gets better for those who don't give up.
It only gets better for those who convinced themselves they deserve the best.
It only gets better for those ready to make sacrifices.
What do you really want?
Answer this question and always keep the answer in mind.
IT IS NOT EASY.
Nobody ever told you it would be easy.
So, don't lie to yourself.

The most inspiring people you’ll ever meet are not necessarily the most successful ones.
I find the most interesting ones to be those who are going through it.
Sucking it up now but have eyes locked in on the prize.
They’re sharp.
They’re focused.
They’re on a mission.
This is what you should aspire to be.
Don’t just daydream about what you want in life.
Chase it.
Hunt it.
And you might just start enjoying your life.
Even with everything that is wrong with it.
Focus on building the man within and your path will be clear.
Once you have the vision and foundations, making it inevitable.
Just don’t get lost along the way and don’t let anyone tell you who you should be.

It's truly become unusable as of late.
The timeline is full of bullshit & garbage posts.
I might just abandon it altogether and post more here?
What think frens?

The fact that this post gets this level of engagement is hilarious to me.
Everybody is looking for a shortcut.
There is none.
The sooner you understand this, the faster you get there.
Maybe that’s the shortcut.
Understanding that anybody who promises you a quick way out will waste your time and mislead you.
You cannot avoid putting in the work.
Miracles don’t happen.
Miracles don’t exist.

This little incident made me realize something.
You guys are the real ones.
Thank you for staying in this channel despite my inconsistent posting.
Thank you for wanting and demanding more from me.
I will not let you down.
I’m back to posting more here and this time I won’t stop.
The format might change a bit but I will be posting here multiple times a day.
God bless you

If you don’t learn to filter people out, you will inevitably become a victim of bad influence and poor relationships.
You cannot allow anyone in your life.
You should be able to kick people out of it when they no longer align with what you expect of them.
Do not be afraid of cutting ties with people.
And most importantly, if your gut tells you that someone isn’t good for you?
Don’t resist the feeling.
Your instinct probably knows better than you.
Don’t give those people a chance to ruin your life.
Keep them away.

The lowest form of human existence is one based on hating everything.
Because it's a clear sign of the lens that you perceive the world from.
It says more about you than it says about the world.
It's not the world that's rotten.
It's your own perception.
In other words, you are the problem.
If everything looks like shit, it's because your perspective is shit.
If you hate yourself how can you love anything?
I don't know if you saw on Twitter this morning but I woke up to a comment about guy wishing harm on my family because I said that life was fantastic.
And honestly?
I don't even hate him for it.
I just feel bad for him.
What would be the point of getting mad at someone who already lives in hell.
Now I know most of you are absolutely not like this guy.
So my point is that when faced with such people, the best you can do is walk away and let them rot in their hatred.
No every battle is worth fighting, you already knew that.
Anyway, not to bring more attention to something that doesn't deserve it, but I thought I'd share with you what the real issue with those people is.
Don't let them pollute your world.
They're ticking bombs and you don't wanna be around when they go off.

A genuine smile and some nice words will take you places.
If you learn to make people like you without acting like someone you’re not; you’ve unlocked everything you want.
You know what that’s called?
Aura and charisma.
And it’s not innate as people want you to believe.
It’s something you work on, train yourself for and master.
It’s a skill.
There is within you, a respectable, likable and enjoyable person that everyone wants to meet.
If you can convey that through your behavior, then people feel that energy and welcome you with arms wide open.
Speak slower, speak lower, smile when necessary, look people in the eyes, say what you think and ask more questions to gather more information.
These are your first steps.
Practice enough and this becomes natural.
As it should be.

Go out there and meet and kinds of people.
Poor. Rich.
Left wing. Right wing.
Young. Old.
Doesn’t matter.
Get their perspectives on life, pick their brain and exchange ideas with them.
You will disagree with most but your understanding of the world and your ability to blend anywhere will expand beyond what you thought was possible.
Do not isolate.
That's how your soul rots.
You are human.
You are not supposed to live on your own.
No man is an island.

Do you understand?
Nietzsche might have went a little overboard on this as he was approaching his latter years when he wrote this.
But there is a deep truth to it.
No matter how much you try to systematize and optimize; nothing will ever make up for the lack of will and conviction.
Your deeply ingrained beliefs will always overpower any attempt.
Because you cannot trick them.
What you believe is what you experience.
You cannot put make up on things.
You must fix the deep internal conflicts.
You must change what you believe in so you can change how you behave.
Not the other way around.
You will try to fake it and you’ll keep failing.
You cannot escape who you are in the depths of your soul.
But you can explore it to the point of full understanding.
You can get a full grasp of why you believe what you believe.
And then you can decide which beliefs serve you best and should be kept.
And which beliefs are detrimental and should be discarded.
Until you do the inner work, everything you will try will miserably fail and weaken your willpower.
This is why I always tell you:
Freestyle your way through life.
Fuck around and find out.
Stop trying to control everything.
Get the life changing experiences you need so that your perception on things change.
Do not try to mimic what works when it comes to the person you’re building.
What works for others will probably not work for you.
Context is king.
You are the context.
Tell me you understand now.

I’m often asked about my thought processes and I don’t always have an answer for that.
I’ve been thinking about ways to put it simply so I came up with four principles that I believe are my guidelines for everything:
Self-sufficiency:
This was the very first thing I wrote about online and also the name of my first book.
This is the backbone of everything.
You cannot pour from an empty cup.
I’ve said it time and time again and I will never stop saying it.
The bottom line: “If I don’t build it, it won’t happen.”
Integrity:
I value this more than any sort of reward.
Yes, sometimes circumstances push you to digress and you act out in ways that compromise it.
But I made peace with this fact of life.
I am not perfect and I don’t aspire to be.
All I want is to be able to look at myself in the mirror and think:
I’m proud of this motherfucker.
The bottom line: “What’s the most efficient, clean way to win without selling my soul?”
Respect:
This is something that comes to complete the above two points.
My self-respect, self-sufficiency and self-reliance make me want to mirror that out.
But if I’m not getting it back, I cut complete contact.
The bottom line: “I’ll let you in but only if you move with respect.”
Authenticity:
This might sound exactly like integrity but it’s more about gut feeling than calculated decision making.
It’s also more about I interact with others. Integrity is more about my internal monologue.
This is not something you put efforts into.
This has to come naturally and this is why I put it last.
It’s a byproduct of all the above.
The bottom line: “This needs to feel like me or I’m out.”
And above all, fuck it we ball.
