When is memecoin season?

As shared earlier, TON’s TVL and DEX volume were already weak—and there’s been no major move to revive the volume. Instead, TON have shifted its focus toward NFTs.

Let’s recall the data from Q4 2024, when memecoins were active:

Average DEX volume: $40–50M USD

Now, as of today:

Average DEX volume: ~$5-6M USD

We’re currently at nearly 10x lower levels than back then.

A real memecoin season on TON likely begins when DEX volume returns to $10–15M+ USD levels and holds. Until then, we’re still early—or simply not there yet
