This video has some interesting information regarding ownership of electrical mains incoming and metering equipment. Question 1: SSE is my homes area network provider. i can only presume they are not the original installers owners and operators of historic distribution supply equipment so when ownership of company assets was exchanged to the new distribution network supply company would the contract detailed transfer of ownership of equipment across and inside private property? Question 2: SSE charge for new installation and offer a refund policy. They prefer BACS payments. There is a contract there SSE pay a wayleave when running cables/pipes under or over private land the same British Telecom do, can we private land owners who receive a supply charge a way leave fee to the distributor and utility billing companies? Question 3: Privity of contract does it exist, who created it and who is it with?
