BREAKING: The North Carolina Supreme Court just issued an order blocking the certification of the Supreme Court race where the Republican candidate was overtaken by the Democrat after late ballots arrived.

Republican Jefferson Griffin is challenging the validity of 60,000 votes and wants them tossed out. As expected, Democrat Candidate Allison Riggs (fitting name) filed a motion to dismiss his challenge.

The court can order a new election if it determines that the number of questionable votes would change the outcome. Keep in mind that the margin is only 700, and 60k votes are being challenged.
