🎁 BetterTelegram GUI v1.3.7 has been released!

This update adds full transparency to the DLL patch updates, it will now grab them directly from the github internal repository instead of from the BetterTelegram backend server!
This also fixes some connectivity/injection issues that certain users may have experienced in the past due to not being able to connect to the cloudflare CDN via certain region/vpn configurations

I’d like to share an update regarding the current status of BetterTelegram.

First and foremost, why has it taken so long for us to provide an update?
We have been dealing with technical issues related to our EV (Extended Validation) certificate provider. We originally purchased the EV certificate in May 2025 for $3000 from a reputable seller, Megatraffer.

As shown in our message to their support team, our EV certificate has disappeared from the cloud signing platform, and we are currently unable to locate it.

Until this issue is resolved, we cannot sign BetterTelegram builds with our official digital EV certificate. The purpose of this certificate is to guarantee that our builds are legitimate and uniquely ours—not someone else’s.

🚀 As for updates, rest assured that we have been very busy over the past few weeks.

We have been working extensively on the BetterMarket plugin, which will feature a custom WebView2 interface accessible directly from the Telegram side menu under the BetterMarket section. The BetterMarket protocol is designed to operate over OTRv4/OMEMO, ensuring that all data and page content exchanged between client and server is fully end-to-end encrypted.

During development, we were also sidetracked when Telegram unexpectedly released version 6.3.0, a major codebase update, only three weeks after 6.1.4. This was then followed quickly by updates 6.3.1, 6.3.2, and now 6.3.3. As many of you know, the features that BetterTelegram provides are version-specific, which means each new Telegram release requires us to create a new Patch DLL with updated function signatures.

👇 Here are the new features you can expect in this version:

1. Block Telegram Device Info requests (this anonymizes your device information).
2. Auto-tunnel all Telegram traffic over TOR, using a whitelist-based exit node selection algorithm to avoid known compromised nodes.
3. Add “(Deleted)” next to message timestamps when peers delete messages while you have Clean-Protect enabled.
4. Improved anti-telemetry: BetterTelegram now removes all metadata and media-caching from files, images, and videos, in addition to providing end-to-end encrypted file transfer over OTR.
5. Ability to delete all of your messages in group chats with a single click.
6. Ability to add unlimited profiles to your account without any limitation.
7. Initial NFT showcase support, allowing you to display your NFTs and link OpenSea to Telegram so other BetterTelegram users can see them on your profile. This is the first stage of the BetterMarket protocol.

🔒 Lastly, I would like to mention that we have so far received two Patch.DLL reverse engineering analysis reports for our 1 ETH challenge. As someone who is also experienced in software analysis, I can confidently say that one of the two submitted reports is highly adequate in terms of quality.

📣 We are fast-tracking a new update that we have been working on behind the scenes, building on top of the previous version. This update includes the following features:

1. Config system – no more usage of C:\ folders; all storage is now in-memory.
2. Implants are now connected to the config system (Clean-Protect, for example, is already using it).
3. OTR is now integrated with the config system.
4. Metadata eraser for images and audio files (OTR mode).
5. Message keeping mode has been redesigned; it now supports fade of visibility and marks for different types of sent elements.
6. Fixed bug with message editing/updating in OTR mode – updates can no longer be received without leaving OTR mode first.
7. Several other small bug fixes and code refactoring.
