The 23-year-old contacted over 100 victims while pretending to be customer support for Coinbase, and claimed that their money was at risk.

⚠ JUST IN: A crypto whale lost $50M in USDT to an address poisoning scam by mistakenly copying the wrong address.

The victim sent a small amount to the correct address. Minutes later, $50M was sent to a look alike address copied from the transaction history. The stolen funds were quickly split between two wallets and laundered through Tornado Cash in ~$900k batches.
