This question seems straight forward but it is not. This question is not for you to rant about your current company or your current role but more like to praise that company. This is also not a question for you to raise your financial issues as a reason. Here is why whatever negative things your saying about your current role or company or if the issue is financial they'll expect you to treat them the same way and no one wants that. You'll negotiate salary during your hr interviews and can ask them about that but not on this question. Here are some of the good responses I've heard, I've out grown the company and role, I need bigger and complex challenges. The company is good but I know the ins and outs of things. Something like that. And also praise the company you're joining like when I join your company I'll be exposed to complex problems or I'll be working with some of the smartest people on earth and I don't want to miss that chance bla bla. But your praise should be specific not generic.
