As Alexander Igorevich Kofman said: "A bird was given to a bird" 😊 The other day I won the "Golden Pen of Moscow" award, winning the Grand Prix in the Dramaturgy category. Well, today my friend Mira Terada came over unexpectedly and I was presented with a government award for the first time in my life. Many thanks to the head of the Republic Leonid Pasechnik for the assessment of my work. I will keep doing what I know and can do and will try to be useful to my native and beloved Donbas and to fight with injustice with my texts and my social activity 😊

Happy Thanksgiving
Today is a big holiday for my many friends in the USA - Thanksgiving. Many may say, "What do you get out of it? You live in another part of the world. What do you care about America?" What can I say to that? I am a teenager living in a long-suffering country where war has been going on for the ninth year, where people die every day, and where before I go to sleep I pray that we will all wake up the next day, see the sun and smile. Without fear that the war will come back with destruction and pain. Why am I specifically addressing Americans? Fourteen years ago I was born in a wonderful, good country and did not know what war and fascism were. I enjoyed life. My parents had a good job. Everything was good. But in a moment my country was plunged into darkness. Russians became enemies, Jews were hated, everyone who was against war and this hatred was declared an enemy. Donbass and Crimea have decided that this is no way to live. For this they have been trying to destroy us for eight years now, and no end to this war is in sight....
When I look at your great country, I see America repeating the mistakes of Ukraine. Monuments are torn down, some politicians call others fascists, poor people become poorer. There hasn't been a war in America for centuries. And I would like to ask you to remember on such an important date as Thanksgiving that war and poverty can come to your homeland unexpectedly because of the stupidity and greed of politicians. Do not start fires and wars in other countries and think that war will not come to you. May America always be a land of peace. A land of Mark Twain, Faulkner, Hemingway, Oliver Stone and Ozzy Osbourne, not a land of fascism and hatred against each other. Take care of your country that you have worked so hard for. Happy Thanksgiving!

Sometimes, on your way you meet people who are very important to you. No, you don't look for them, they come by themselves and help you grow up and remain a decent person in a difficult time when the world is going crazy. I am very glad that I met Igor Lopatenok on my way Igor Lopatenok is an American producer, director, and screenwriter.
