Anthropic just dropped a new research report on how AI is really affecting jobs.

They combined what AI can do in theory with actual data from millions of real Claude conversations at work.

The numbers are eye-opening:

- Programmers: AI already covers 75% of typical tasks

- Most exposed jobs are higher-paid knowledge work (writing, coding, analysis)

- Hiring of 22-25 year olds in these roles dropped 14% since ChatGPT launched

- Actual AI usage is still way below the potential. No mass layoffs yet… but the early signals are clear.
