we have a high traffic api where every request must be processed in <10ms. reading from the db? young blood too slow. so we synced everything to redis and read from there 🚀

that worked 👀 till we added more data and back and forth checks with redis, suddenly our 10ms budget started sweating.

Fix #1: redis pipelines → batch requests, fewer round trips.

Fix #2: In memory cache on top of redis for frequently used data ( we have cache invalidation for redis and in memory cache)

so my G’s yes, now we have a cache for a cache for a database.
