Success is about balance.
But everyone misunderstands what balance truly means.
Balance does not mean you can’t be extreme.
Listen.
Working hard vs working smart
Discipline vs creativity
Patience vs urgency
Following vs leading
There is a time and place for each of them.
And often, you need to lean into one of the two directions.
Sure, there are times where you are more in the middle.
Times where you work hard AND smart.
Where you are creative AND disciplined.
But more often than not, you need to know when to be EXTREME for a specific situation.
At times you’re the follower.
Other times you’re a leader.
At times you’re extremely disciplined.
And other times you’re flowing, creatively.
Whoever told you balance is ALWAYS 50/50 has lied to you.
Switching on the right mode for the right moment.
That is what true balance is.
Wake up to reality…

Your opponents are WEAK.
If the people around you were physical specimen, you wouldn’t even mention your 315 Bench PR.
If you were in a room full of millionaires, you would be ashamed to speak of your earnings.
If you’re surrounded by people full of experiences, wisdom and knowledge, you wouldn’t speak of the books you read.
The one reason why guys think they're a Big Shark is because they are surrounded by small fish.
Dive into deeper waters.
Find stronger opponents.
Have your ego crushed.
Again.
And again.
And again…
That is the sole way to truly become a big shot.
