I AM TRIGGERED

I’ve got a new promotional card from one famous French cosmetic brand I regularly buy some products from (no ads!).

It’s a nice example on why it’s popular & how it’s works: a small mind marketing analysis through triggers 👇:

1️⃣GREED trigger through gamified point-based system leading to collecting virtual currency you can use for further purchases

2️⃣EMOTIONAL trigger through aesthetic design and creative seasonal packaging

3️⃣POSSESSION trigger via an offered 🎁 and discounts

❗️But today I was triggered by another one: 17 years of LOYALTY as it’s deeply connected to my inner values.

Would you be triggered by? 😜

Are you my client?

That’s a question I’ve been having for the past 2 weeks: I am conducting a trilingual study based on Customer Development interview method.

I’ve decided to make it as a playful session as I understood that Innovation is my inner trigger that works nowadays.

To my surprise (!), double effect has produced:
- I’ve got insights on who I wanna work with and where to go;
- my audience has found solutions to their problems after just one hour session.

Promising!

If you want to live this experience on yourself , just give me a sign 👍.

What if we constantly sabotage our success ?

What if we look at what is holding us back from another angle? What if our “fears” are not there where we initially think?

We often hear here and there about the Impostor syndrome. People are hiding themselves behind “we are not good enough”:
- not enough skilled
- not enough experienced
- not enough motivated
- not enough supported
- not enough thinking big
- not enough extraverted
- not enough young to explore, to start
- and hundreds of not-being-good-enough may follow.

Inspired by several playful customer development interviews I’ve been conducting, I am noticing people forget to change their glasses and look at the situation from different perspectives what does create a narrowed version of their vision - a reality tunnel (T. Leary and R. A. Wilson).

By expanding our focus at 360 degrees and applying creativity and innovation methods, we may get new perspectives and face our real « fears » differently. Digging deeper into our fears unlocks emotional intelligence mechanisms and provokes a mindset shifting - a cognitive transformation -
a necessary condition for further decision-making and action.

After all, what if we are simply afraid of our own success?

Creative solutions are sometimes the easiest ones.

Look how with 4 wooden boards a young dad of 3 kids managed his shopping.

By the end of the week, various thoughts come to mind. I always keep reminding myself:

any idea can either be leaned on or pushed away from.

Working last time on business and content organisation, I turned my findings from several business trips, projects and learnings into postcards - new rubrique has arrived.

Let’s play around !
Are you Creative Padawan or Experienced Gamer?

I bet you would if you like playfulness and take it seriously.

Take a challenge to check your « gamer » potential and identify our profile.
I've got my wave today -:) Your turn ! 🏃‍♂️
Interactive content is the new currency

Let’s face it, we’re drowning in content these days. Attention is scattered, and getting people to focus on your content has become the ultimate challenge.

Traditional tools like PDF guides, checklist and so on just don’t work like they used to. They often get lost in the “read later” folder, forgotten. So, how do you stand out?

Here’s the trick: add a little play. Turn static content into something interactive, and transform passive consumption into active engagement.

How can you do this?

🟢 Option A: Make your guide game-like. Add interactive elements like resource collection, decision paths, or mini-challenges that match your topic.

🟢 Option B: Go all-in with a chatbot guide. This turns your content into an engaging experience while also collecting leads for future engagement.

These are just a couple of ideas. The beauty of a game-based lead magnet or complete products is its flexibility—it can be tailored to any niche, helping you grab attention and boost conversions.

Ready to up your content game? Let’s talk about strategies that capture attention and get results.
Is “spying” a winning strategy?

Definitely yes. I can truly declare, I’m a “spy” .

I’ve been doing it for more than past two years : finding new concepts, learning new methods, taking courses, conducting researches, experimenting, taking over new digital tools and playing, playing, playing.

Today one more evening LXD international playful workshop with people from US, South Africa, Europe, Argentina, Brazil…

I love this kind of collective intelligence where connections are deeper, insights are more powerful and energy is resourceful.

But the biggest point - realizing there are people next to you that are on the same road, towards to change and new experience.
I am eating worms 🐛

Never eaten worms before. There is always a starting point.

But how to combine pleasure with unexpected? - through playfulness.
Secret ingredients on how to engage your audience through playfulness:

- visual communication
- appealing topic
- personal dilemma
- fun
- addressing inner motivations
- teaser

“Do I look depressed?”

It’s one of my daughter’s questions I had to address last week. One of those questions that make think three times : as a parent, as a practical educator and a learning experience designer.

Would be interesting to see your version if you are in such a situation before I explain mine.
Who said it? I will kick his ass

That was my first reaction in mind as a mom.

The second one, after reflection, was formulated (always in my head) from educator and managerial position. Too much formal, neutral, not really leading to a efficient learning.

The third one was introduced by my inner voice of learning experience designer who is focused on a human being. Based on LX design principles, a deeper transformation (mental-emotional-behavioral) happens through insights an individual receives from an experience activity.

Guess what we did? - a hint is hidden in visuals.
Playful Business : Utopia or Alternative?

Hey hey week is almost done spent on testing new playful solutions, strengthening my expertise, extending my professional « playful » toolkit.

🔹 Monday opened a new learning experience with a serious game design course based on the experience economy principles to certify my expertise in this area and stand out with « wow » playful solutions for business and personal growth.

🔹 Tuesday was spent on developing and designing playful materials I want to implement into my international flagship course on entrepreneurial personal branding

🔹 Wednesday - online game on how to find a « purple cow » idea for a serious game 2.0 based on the experience economy and personal expertise. A kind of « collective ideation » where you need an empty space for new neuronal connections. This additional licence-based tool goes directly to my « banana toolbox » 🧰 and I am eager to include in my offer.

🔹 Thursday - ideating a methodological game for LxDesigners and Entrepreneurs within a new collaboration ( promise to tell you more as soon as I can).
It does help me keeping building my own methodological framework on how to work with experts, playfully and digitally => new collaborative digital hub « Notion-Telegram » is on its way.

🔹 Friday - double playful experience :
« brainwashing » session with my course buddy @annaharder

Afternoon I played CozyJuicyReal game during Community Social Mixer by L&D SHAKERS - online board game with thought provocative questions and challenges - a nice way to replace a boring small talk when new people onboard ➡️Nice solution to start a training or team building activity.

🔹 Saturday agenda contained a playful session on how to facilitate a memorable online webinar. This practice will certainly find its place in my updated course starting in October.

🔹 Sunday - course mastermind expanding my perception on game design.

To complete, playful activities outside with my daughter and little « devil » dog.

❤️ days of play - and tell you that it’s a part of my job - designing and implementing playful and digital solutions in education and business 🤦‍♀️. It could be worst as a job !

How playful was your week?
