i reached 18 months a couple of days ago. i’ve been self-harm free for 1.5 years, so treat it as a message, that you can.
better days are on their way. there are other ways to let out the pain inside you. please, stay safe, keep looking for positive things in life.
it’s not going to be smooth though. there will be bumps on your road, you’ll get urges and you’ll want to go back to old ways. i get urges too, when it becomes too much. but i have to remind myself, that i want to be free from that. i want to do better by my friends, my family, my partner, and most importantly for myself. and if i can do it, you can do it too. seek help, research ways to help yourself, treat yourself with care and patience. the future you will be grateful for that.
