It’s always great when a tea tasting can be not only practical but also beautiful.
Today, in the mountains of Pinghe, I tasted a large number of different Shu Pu-erh teas and started preparing a new collection of blends. Everyone really enjoys my signature mixes — including those combining different tea categories — and today was exactly that kind of day.
This process usually takes quite a lot of time, because even with just five types of tea, the number of possible combinations is endless. And today, I had about thirty. But I’m happy with the results — I managed to create several very interesting flavor profiles. Hopefully, they’ll be ready by the end of the year.
