Recent Broxus developments
Node switch complete
🔥The switch from C++ nodes to Rust nodes has been completed! This was a scheduled part of the change from FreeTON to Everscale. Rust nodes are much more versatile and allow the network to operate at full scaling capacity.
➕Because of the shift from C++ to Rust, the desktop wallet is no longer compatible. In order to continue using the wallet, you should switch to the browser extension or one of the mobile app versions.
ADNL update
⚡️Along with the node switch, we have updated the Everscale ADNL (Abstract Datagram Network Layer). The ADNL connects the nodes with all the products on the blockchain. The update increased the speed of the ADNL, and now it is fully operational with the new nodes for all products except the desktop wallet.
DAO update
🚀We've also got important news on the DAO front. The DAO is now in production. You can access the voting interface here: Bridge DAO
In addition, all funds held in the Bridge will now be controlled by a DAO Bridge contract.
Testnet Explorer now available
💻Last but not least, the Everscale Testnet Explorer is now available. You can check out the explorer here: TESTNET EXPLORER

👋Hey everybody! Hope the new year has gotten off to a good start for you! We've got some updates for ya:
📖The first round of Everscale Grants is in the books. For those who missed it, Everscale Grants is a project we developed to help promising IT startups launch and onramp into the Everscale ecosystem. In a word, the program was successful. Take a look for yourself at the results.
📝A total of 17 projects were interviewed as part of the project. Of those 17, 8 of the best and brightest were selected to be part of the project. As of right now, the elite 8 are going through DD procedures and more technical interviews as partnership terms are being negotiated.
👨💻You’ll be able to read the full details about each participant once all of the procedures have been completed and partnership terms have been agreed upon.
🧩While DeFi is our thing, the projects that are involved with the grants program come from all different sectors and stand to add some diversity to the Everscale ecosystem. In the first round, we had projects from GameFi, the NFT space, DeFi, AML and the crypto news sphere apply.
🤝We got a lot of promising startups that were just missing the right packaging and direction from a business perspective. We’ve talked with them about their presentation and fixing their business compasses and we look forward to seeing them again in the second round of the grants program.
🤙Plus, we are currently working out partnerships with launchpads and startup accelerators that will be able to help the projects that didn’t make the cut find their place in the ecosystem next time around.
👁All in all, the whole process was eye-opening for our team. In a good way. The community, as always, came through and took the bull by the horns. We were really impressed with how much life there is in the Everscale circle and how full it is with projects with initiative and creative vision.
🎯We encourage everybody that has a project that they want to get off the ground to apply for round 2. Stay tuned, because next week we will be announcing the start of the second round and how you can apply.
