👋Hey everybody! Hope the new year has gotten off to a good start for you! We've got some updates for ya:
📖The first round of Everscale Grants is in the books. For those who missed it, Everscale Grants is a project we developed to help promising IT startups launch and onramp into the Everscale ecosystem. In a word, the program was successful. Take a look for yourself at the results.
📝A total of 17 projects were interviewed as part of the project. Of those 17, 8 of the best and brightest were selected to be part of the project. As of right now, the elite 8 are going through DD procedures and more technical interviews as partnership terms are being negotiated.
👨💻You’ll be able to read the full details about each participant once all of the procedures have been completed and partnership terms have been agreed upon.
🧩While DeFi is our thing, the projects that are involved with the grants program come from all different sectors and stand to add some diversity to the Everscale ecosystem. In the first round, we had projects from GameFi, the NFT space, DeFi, AML and the crypto news sphere apply.
🤝We got a lot of promising startups that were just missing the right packaging and direction from a business perspective. We’ve talked with them about their presentation and fixing their business compasses and we look forward to seeing them again in the second round of the grants program.
🤙Plus, we are currently working out partnerships with launchpads and startup accelerators that will be able to help the projects that didn’t make the cut find their place in the ecosystem next time around.
👁All in all, the whole process was eye-opening for our team. In a good way. The community, as always, came through and took the bull by the horns. We were really impressed with how much life there is in the Everscale circle and how full it is with projects with initiative and creative vision.
🎯We encourage everybody that has a project that they want to get off the ground to apply for round 2. Stay tuned, because next week we will be announcing the start of the second round and how you can apply.

💸Hey guys, remember our New Year's airdrop with about $500,000 worth of BRIDGE tokens? Well, we've got some killer news. The second part of that airdrop is now ready to be claimed! Users have a month to head over to the site and claim their share, so make sure to do so while there's still time.
😎The Bridge airdrop was held at the end of 2021 for early Bridge users and TON Swap liquidty providers. As part of the airdrop, 1/12 of the total amount of BRIDGE tokens earmarked for airdrops was sent to early users, and every subsequent month 1/12 of the tokens sent out in the drop will be unlocked.

Updated Chrome extension for EVER Wallet
⚡️Some killer news, guys! Our devs have just updated the Chrome extension for the EVER Wallet, making it more convenient and useful than ever.
The new version of the extension includes:
💠 the possibility to create a backup with which you can restore seed hierarchies, keys and accounts;
💠 a reworking of the transport functionality;
💠 a number of small but significant improvements to the wallet's operability.
👉 You can get your hands on the updated extension here! And if you prefer mobile, stay tuned because updated versions of the wallet in the app store and google play with these new features are in the works.

🚀New year, new us. Guys, 2022 is going to be huge for us. In order to make sure that we are able to realize all of the potential of the Broxus products and the Everscale network, we understand that we have to step things up and optimize all facets of our approach.
🤝The Broxus team came together earlier this year with the goal of more clearly defining what we are, where we are going and what we have to do to ensure success. We emerged from this session with a much clearer vision of what needs to be done in 2022.
1️⃣First and foremost, we understand that transparency is key and our true strength lies in our great community. As a result, we will be turning a new leaf and making a concerted effort to bring the community in on everything that is going on with the Broxus team.
👉We have the first result of this new approach for you all to check out. We have come up with a plan of action for 2022, detailing what we have identified as essential for the health of our company and by extension the Everscale network. New token standard for Everscale tokens
❗️Hey everybody, we've got an important update for y'all! Everscale tokens will be moving from the current TIP-3 standard to the new TIP-3.1 token standard. The switch will occur automatically for Everscale whitelisted token contracts, but for custom tokens solutions will be made on an individual basis.
Why switch standards?
🔥The new token standard is more reliable than the previous one, and —perhaps most importantly— the new standard requires less gas so it's a win for everyone. By uniting all associated tokens under a single standard, our devs will have a much easier job and newcomers to the platform will likewise have an easier time learning the ropes.
✅The switch will coincide with a number of changes, including the release of a new version of the Broxus-powered DEX. So it is important that you guys stay tuned for further announcements. From 12-15 of February, farming will be stopped for migration from the old version of the DEX to the new one, and this is when the standard upgrade will occur.
